10 Months

It's been 10 months.

At the airport in Hong Kong, waiting to fly to Chiang Mai last July.

10 months since this blog was updated.
10 months since we moved from Hong Kong to Thailand.
10 months since life has changed for us in almost every way.

The first day of school back in August.

10 months ago, I posted about my Rubik's Cube therapy. Leading up to our move, I was legitimately finding it therapeutic to solve a Rubik's Cube multiple times a day.

Since we arrived in Thailand, the cube has sat dormant on my bedside table. The many unsolvable variables of the move were solved and the cube has not been needed.

I am thankful for weird coping strategies, but even more thankful for the hundreds of ways, both large and small that God has provided for us and demonstrated His love for us over the past 10 months.

Mud sliding seemed therapeutic for the kids last fall.

These past 10 months have been a transition in nearly every facet of life. We are anticipating the end of this transition stage as we enter into a new stage of stability, teams, growth, community, and purpose.

But first, we press pause. We will be in the states for 3 months this summer, in all the usual places. More updates coming soon!
