Trip Update

Nathan is generally a pretty animated teacher. 

He always has been.

It's pretty easy to see where he got it from.

And how much further he has to go!

(Those of you who know the two gentlemen in the above pictures, understand. Those who don't, you'll just have to trust me. Sorry I can't give you video proof!)

During this recent trip to Vietnam, the SALT team taught for 40 hours culminating in a comprehensive test and certification ceremony. 

140 hours of teaching over 2 years,

24 pastors with less then a 5th grade education

Comprehensive test with more than 200 items

All passed with an average score of 95%

Praise God that these trainings have been well received, 

with several pastors making a point to share stories of how the teaching has positively impacted their congregations.

Our partner organization in Vietnam gave out white shirts and ties as a gift to each pastor. The week of teaching theology ended with a lesson on tying ties!
