When Daddy is gone...

there are no awesome blanket forts,

(I can do a decent fort but I'm not willing to go to all this effort!)

and no one to play with all the kids at birthday parties,

(BEST dad and BEST husband award!)

and no one to buy awesome plunger presents,

and no one to bungee sleeping children onto tricycles.

But at least we all have thumbs to suck on and fingers to stare at.

(Nathan is in Vietnam for a week. Prayers for all of us are appreciated!)
