Boyer #5

I meant to do this earlier in the day, but it's still tomorrow, so it counts.
Welcome to our apartment for the next month!

This is a shot of the left side of the living room. And that's Josiah's room.

His room is a bit tight with bunk beds and two cribs, but it works. I might see if I can move the white crib out, as he prefers his own crib.

I fell asleep cuddling with him on the bottom bunk, which is why this post is late. I only woke up because he rolled out of bed.

Back to the living room, this is the other side. The door to the left of Nathan is the bathroom. It's a nice, normal bathroom, except that it doesn't have a bathtub. So Josiah will be taking showers while we're here.

And that's the door to our bedroom.

Which looks like that.

Here's the kitchen.

And a view towards the living room.

Overall, we feel pretty settled. We're thankful we have our own space for a few weeks. The laundry room for everyone here is just steps outside our door, along with a playground and a short trail through the woods. The CIT campus is nice and we're very thankful to be here!

I mentioned needing a new lock on our door... because Josiah can unlock and open this. This ability, along with his motivation to get outside was causing a bit of a problem. We put one of those child safety door knob things on, but then WE couldn't get out.

So thankfully the CIT staff added this for us. Josiah hates it.

Josiah is in childcare from 8:30-12:00 and then from 1:30-3:00. He had a rough first day, but today was better. Another few days and hopefully there will be no more tears and clinginess when I drop him off. There's another 2-year-old boy and 2 4-year-olds for him to play with. (The older kids have separate classes.) After lunch, I take him back and put him down for a nap in one of their crib rooms. He has done pretty well napping in a new place so far, for which I am thankful!

I'll share more about our classes and take pictures of the campus, but for now I have some homework to get done! That 2 hour pre-sleep tonight was not planned!
