I forgot to tell you!

We actually did something on Valentine's Day this year! It was pretty much a miracle. Though mostly a "we'll feel guilty if we don't because people are offering to watch our kid" kind of miracle. So do you want to know what we did? It's pretty thrilling...


We went here. The Union Mills Cafe.

This is the larger, um, complex in which the Union Mills Cafe is found.

And despite the fact that we were eating at a gas station cafe, we had a great time. :) We got the Valentine's Day Special which came with a ton of food, drinks, and cake for pretty cheap. The service was great, too. Maybe 'cause we were the only ones there.

Anyway, that's what I forgot to tell you.

    Here's the amazing part: "Union Mills actually has a cafe!?" (One arrives at Union Mills, NC by traveling to the middle of "nowhere" and then making a right hand turn into "not much".)
