Joe and his body parts
He knows who he is... even if he can't say it right. (And he is pointing at himself as he says it, though you can't quite see that.)
And he knows lots of his body parts... specifically: head, hair, ears, eyes, nose, lips, teeth, tongue, mouth, elbows, hands, belly, belly button, knees, feet, and toes. We read in a book at a bookstore today that at 18 months he should be able to identify at least one body part. Anyway, here are a few body parts identified.
Yeah man--what a learning machine: motivated and enjoying it and making all kinds of progress. You can almost hear his synapes firing and pioneering new pathways, and he delights in it all (and so does mommy!)
