Forks and Spoons
Josiah loves forks and spoons. He now uses them at most meals and he's getting pretty good. The other day we were eating hot dogs and I had used a knife to cut up part of mine for Josiah. He refused any pieces of hot dog until I stabbed one with the knife and offered it to him. Then he ate it. But we generally don't let him eat off of knives. Though I'm not really sure how a fork is much safer than a butter knife.

ReplyDeleteAny hot dog needs some type of "assistance" in order to be eatable. I use mucho mustard and/or sauerkraut. Sounds like the knife did the job for Joe.
