Last Week

Did you know it's expensive to drive around the area between DC and NY? It is. Every bridge and tunnel has a toll. In fact, to get out of the state of New Jersey you have to pay $4. We went over an $8 bridge in the NYC area. Anyway, now you know.

So we spent a week in the area and had much fun. I don't have pictures of all the places we went or people we saw (sorry Abbie!) but here are some of them.

Cousin Liz took us to the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.

Josiah got to dig with big trucks.

And play in lots of cars.

And be silly.

Of course, he wasn't the only one who had fun.
And there was lots more in the museum, but taking pictures and having fun don't often go together.

Another day, we took the train into the city. It is impossible to describe the thrill and excitement that go along with the picture below, but just know there was a significant amount of squealing.

We went to China Town and had deliciousness.

Josiah loved it too, of course, and will be much happier when he can use chopsticks like everybody else.

Thanks for having us, Uncle Keith and Aunt Susan!

  1. You guys have sure put on the smiles and brought many smiles. Glad you could spend time with so many...sounds like the trip was what it needed to be. You've done an awesome job as parents, as has Joe in all the changes. Wanting to go 'home" whereever that is, is not a bad thing. Good thing he knows how to express his needs and feelings. You all are loved and prayed for by many....thanks for all the great posts.
