the 37th floor

This week we looked at a few high rise apartments. They were quite nice on the inside, if you ignore the teeny-tininess. Josiah thought the view was great because...

...how could the view get any better than a yard full of
construction equipment directly below?

It is a pretty cool view. (China is back there beyond the river.)

Except when your teeny-tiny fear of heights takes over and all you can imagine is your child climbing out a window. In this apartment, he could actually climb out the window, so something would clearly need to be done about that!

This would be Josiah's room. Nathan can almost touch both walls. And that little ledge there? Definitely counted in the total square footage.

Master bedroom. By which I mean, slightly bigger than the other bedroom and we could probably fit a double bed in there. You know, a bed just high enough so that Josiah could reach the latch on those unscreened windows...

Anyway, there are other reasons that we won't be living in this apartment, including price, distance, and community. Also because we think we actually found the one we will be living in! More on that later...
