Louisiana Part 1: Travel

We are back home and I finally have a few minutes to post something... thanks to my mom who is currently entertaining the baby.

We flew from LAX to Houston at 7am last Thursday. Josiah did excellent on the plane! Thanks to the 3 hour flight, he nursed on both take-off and landing. He got really talkative on the flight, stood on our laps, laid on our tray tables, and took a nap. He even had a nice poop on the plane, which Nathan had a fun time figuring out how to change in the airplane bathroom.

Then we had a 4 hour drive from Houston to Pineville, LA. Why did we not fly into Louisiana?Because it was cheaper to fly into Houston and rent a car then to fly into anywhere in Louisiana. But thanks to a super good baby, the 4 hour drive was no big deal!

And if you know Nathan at all, you know we had to stop for some non-chain, local food along the way. So we stopped at Willy Ray's BBQ...

While we enjoyed our Texas BBQ, Josiah enjoyed the floral pattern on the back of the booth.

Until we showed him our food, which he obviously wanted, because he is a Clifton.

Josiah wanted the sausage...

Then he didn't want the sausage.

But everyone was happy after lunch!

More trip and wedding pictures coming soon...
