Louisiana Part 2: The Rehearsal

To pick up where I left off...

We arrived safely in Louisiana Thursday late afternoon. That evening I went out for a bachlorette party (woohoo Applebee's!) while Nathan kept Josiah. Though he fussed some about having to take a bottle, he did eventually and when I got home both baby and daddy were sleeping.

Friday afternoon was the rehearsal, followed by a yummy dinner. Here are some pictures from the rehearsal...

Josiah met some of his relatives for the first time. Here he is sitting with Great Aunt Lynda.

Nathan relaxed during rehearsal proceedings (the wedding was on a plantation).

The bride and groom... how sweet!

The bride and bridesmaids.

The bridesmaids standing nicely in a line. Well, I don't know what Angie was doing, but everyone else is standing nicely.

As we walked out to where the ceremony was to take place. We found this guy...

Nathan started to take the initiative to move the snake away, but then, well, it just seemed more appropriate for the best man to do it...

Anyway, here are the Cliftons!

Still more to come...

  1. Nice pics--looks like a nice plantation, full of neat critters!
And the food entry (BBQ) looked yummy--wished I could have been there!
