Weird Things

1. Josiah's preferred Subway sandwich: roast beef, provolone, pickles, and olives on wheat bread.

2. Any road with tolls necessitates that my child fall asleep before the tolls start. Thankfully, he does well going back to sleep when the toll stop wakes him up. And he usually says something bizarre for the 10 seconds he is awake. A few weeks ago he talked about cows and forks before falling back asleep. Today, "look it Daddy, look it!" in a very excited voice before popping the paci back in and conking out.

3. Josiah slept through most of West Virginia and all of Virginia, then woke up in North Carolina saying "yes sir" instead of just "yes." Seriously. Maybe if we can get him to sleep on the plane to Hong Kong he'll wake up speaking Chinese.

5. We were on the road for almost 10 hours today. It wasn't so bad, actually.
