As I write this, she is out running 10 miles.

The problem with having your Ironman athlete friend visit you in Hong Kong...

while

you are 8 months pregnant...

and

with your stubborn, prideful, competitive personality...

is that

you end up really really sore...

because

you refused to ask her to bike slower or walk slower or simply sit down at some point during the hours and hours you spent walking all over the city...

so

today you resolve to be a bit nicer to your body and take some more breaks...

also

to eat less of the candy corn she brought.
