Sigh.

Nathan's homemade baby gates works. It still does. But then Josiah figured out how to climb around the side and through the banister poles. So we added the rope. Today I was enjoying time to get things done while Josiah was playing so well by himself when I hear "mommy!" and discover this:

(Obviously I then left him there to go get the camera.)

Someone was very proud of himself.
