Zoo #Two

This past Friday we went to the Grand Rapids Zoo. The main difference between the two zoos in this area is one is very sunny and one is rather shaded.

But regardless of the sun, it's always fun to watch the animals.

And pet them.

Sometimes the animals watch back.

Along with all the animals, we also got to hang out with Kat

and Papa.

Though the capybara came in at a close second, the budgies were the highlight attraction, especially for Josiah.

Josiah got to hold a food stick that the birds would perch on. He was very possessive of the birds that would land on his stick and was very upset if they flew away. He liked to try and touch them, and one nibbled on his finger a bit. He didn't mind too much.

We were all very tired at the end of the day!

And in the morning we are off to Denver!
