Prayer Card Vote
These are some of the pictures that our fabulous friend Jenna took for us recently. There are too many good ones to choose from! So what's your vote for a prayer card? Which one says "Get down on your knees and pray for this family!"? :)
#1: I'm sure we can crop out the bare feet.
#2: We can probably also get rid of the heart on that limb.
#3: Sigh. So hard to get him to smile towards the camera. Good thing he's just cute!
Alicia likes two the most by far. I like two, I also like one, cropped quite a bit of course. These are really good pictures. Yeah, so two is our vote.

ReplyDeleteMy vote would be one or two, they are both good pictures. They are all good for that matter. It kind of depends upon what you are planning to put on the prayer cards and where that info would go.
ReplyDeleteFor a prayer card, I'd suggest #3 actually. I think the angle on #2 is a bit odd, though artsy and I think simple might be better for the purpose of the picture. I find your faces the most clear (as in focus) in #3 and I think you look the loveliest in that photo too, Shannon!
ReplyDeleteWell gosh! #2 gets my vote for best picture, but I say go with #1 for the prayer card.
ReplyDeleteMy vote? #2 or #3 -- I'd probably choose #2 over #3, but I do understand why #2 is considered artsy and #3 is considered simpler. (Confession: Grandpa's eyes find the grandson first and the parents second.)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #2, and I also love #3. But, for a prayer card #3 had a closer view of the three of you... Good luck on the decision! :)

ReplyDeleteI don't see #3 as being any more simple than #2. It seems you are having more fun in #2, which gives a stronger sense of family and not as formal.
But having said that, all of them are worthy of publication. I guess it's just the material!
But #3 is growing on me. I agree that in #3 Shannon's expression is better.

ReplyDeleteMy vote is #1 but cropped quite a bit... Two is a weird angle & three and four are nice because they are closer up... that is why I vote 1 if it is cropped so you are bigger in the picture!

I agree with the last comment, and I would like to add that Josiah is cuter in 1 than he is in 3 or 4. I mean, he's cute all the time, but his expression is more attentive and sweet.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Aly Matt N Macy. If #1 was cropped and you guys were a little closer it would make a very nice prayer card. So what I think you ought to do is choose two (cropped and fixed up and all) and put it out again and see what kind of votes you get. It is a hard decision because they are all good.
